										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>This revolutionary 3D printing process has many advantages over conventional laser sintering. Parts produced with HP MJF have a higher density, an eroding-like surface structure and can be produced in the shortest production time.</p>
<p>This means for you: No series production of plastic parts and assemblies on an industrial scale at attractive prices!</p>
<p>To expand our product range, we have now conducted an internal study to determine whether economically viable pressure vessel production with HP MJF is possible. Our question in this study was therefore: &#8220;Is the HP Multi Jet Fusion manufacturing process suitable for the production of tanks that are exposed to high internal pressure?</p>
<p>We produced a few tanks for this purpose and then tested the resulting containers. For the pressure-tightness test, the test specimens manufactured with HP MJF were filled with water and permanently pressurized to 20 bar for four months using a hand pump.</p>
<p>The result for an additive manufacturing process is astounding: no moisture leakage and no pressure loss &#8211; even over a long period of time!</p>
<p>If one compares the pressure vessel production with HP MJF with other processes in which, for example, conventional vessels are produced from metal or conventional plastic production processes, there are significant advantages for this process:</p>
<p>With HP MJF, tanks can be manufactured in any shape (e.g. spherical, cylindrical or cube-shaped) that guarantees high wear resistance and thus suitability for use on an industrial scale. The pressure vessels produced in this way can be used for different pressure ranges depending on the wall thickness dimensioning. Due to the process-related easy scalability, freely selectable design and the possibility of integrating different coupling pieces in one production step, the production of complex tanks and pressure vessels, for example, is no longer a problem. In addition, pressure vessel production with HP MJF as an alternative to conventional processes remains comparatively inexpensive!</p>
<p>In a separate study by HP, it was also demonstrated that parts produced using the MJF process have a higher density (1.01 g/cm³) than parts produced using conventional laser sintering (0.90-0.95 g/cm³). The polyamide HD 3D PA 12 used in the MJF also has a much lower porosity than the SLS PA 12 material commonly used in the laser sintering process. It enables the production of ultra-thin layers of only 80 micrometers and thus excellent detail accuracy as well as outstanding surface quality. It also scores well in terms of chemical resistance: Even hot water, alcohol, aliphatic hydrocarbons (including gasoline components), engine oil and DOT-3 brake fluid cannot harm the PA 12 material used by Multi Jet Fusion. But that&#8217;s not all: The pressure vessels created with HP MJF have also passed IP66 and IP67 tests.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The Munich developers Alexander Schneider and Sebastian Müller are behind the start-up company Rapitag. Both have a heart for customers under time pressure. That&#8217;s why they have developed an intelligent anti-theft device that gives consumers a new shopping experience.</p>
<p>Rapitag allows customers to pay for the selected product with their smartphone directly on the shelf. In a large German electronics chain in Munich, technology has already found its way into the headphone department. Anyone who wants to enjoy new headphones here can enjoy the innovative payment technology. The buyer simply downloads an app onto his smartphone. After registering and paying for the desired headphones, the customer holds the mobile phone to the product&#8217;s anti-theft device. This is then automatically unlocked, then remains in the store and the customer can leave the store with the goods.</p>
<p>There is no need to queue up at the checkout.</p>
<p>When you read the article and think of the self-checkout systems of a large Swedish furniture store and some supermarkets, you may not be completely wrong, but the novelty and innovation of Rapitag is the added value for the customer. What exactly does that mean? Queuing is queuing. It doesn&#8217;t really matter whether a customer is standing in line at the central checkout or at a self-checkout checkout. Both cost valuable time. This is exactly what Rapitag wants to help customers save. Even with mobile payment there is no real added value for the customer &#8211; although he can pay with his smartphone, he still has to queue and wait at the classic checkout line. This is where the Munich-based company&#8217;s new technology comes in: on the one hand, it wants to provide customers with a simple and convenient shopping experience and, on the other, it wants to offer retailers security with its intelligent anti-theft device.</p>
<p>According to their own statement, the founders of the innovative technology are in negotiations with several large European and American fashion chains. They see the main advantage of their invention for retailers in the fact that traditional retailing with Rapitag can regain more influence in a market dominated by e-commerce. The introduction of the new technology can help to market one&#8217;s own business in the media as extremely innovative. Both retailers and customers under time pressure can benefit from the intelligent Rapitag anti-theft system.</p>
<p>The innovative project was realized by the engineering and design office &#8220;industrialpartners&#8221;, among others. The German company, with offices in Frankfurt am Main, the Odenwald and the Chinese port city of Tianjin, accompanies its customers from the first brilliant idea to the development of the entire product. With the intelligent anti-theft device, the creative heads of &#8220;industrialpartners&#8221; were responsible for the concept development of the housing solution for the actual day, the subsequent mechanical development and the production of a 300 piece small series of these tags. For the production of the small series, the team, which received several awards for its design ideas, used the HP Multi Jet Fusion 4200 production system. This system makes it possible for the first time to produce components with an almost 100% density, which surpass laser-sintered parts in terms of strength and load-bearing capacity and are also virtually isotropic. 										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>industrialpartners develops high-tech product &#8220;Gentler&#8221; for KN Sales UG to immobilize large cattle</strong></p>
<p>Recently, the topic of &#8220;animal welfare&#8221; has been discussed with great attention and justification.</p>
<p>Two Odenwald companies are providing technical assistance with a particularly innovative veterinary product. In order to protect animals and humans during difficult or dangerous medical treatments and care measures, such as claw care, the company Industrialpartners GmbH, based in the upper Olfen district, has developed the &#8220;Gentler&#8221; system for K+N SALES UG from Fränkisch-Crumbach, which is based on stimulation current therapy technology.</p>
<p>In the past, it was usually necessary to use clamping frames or medication to immobilize the animals for the duration of a treatment. Now the &#8220;Gentler&#8221; offers a safe and gentle alternative for the protection of animals and humans. Especially during dehorning, claw care, milking or other veterinary measures, animals are often under stress and can become a great danger for humans and themselves through hoof kicks or uncontrolled movements.</p>
<p>The &#8220;Gentler&#8221;, which weighs only 1.2 kg, effectively prevents this. He stimulates the nervous system of the animal by means of an electronic impulse in which the ergonomically shaped tip of the probe is inserted rectally into the animal. Subsequently, the stimulation current pulse can effectively immobilize the animal by temporarily anaesthetising part of the muscles, which is completely harmless to the animal&#8217;s health during use.</p>
<p>The creative team of Industrialpartners GmbH from Oberzent with its engineers and product designers is responsible for the electronic and mechanical development of the K+N Sales product, which also uses the marketing of this innovative product concept, as well as the design development, article construction and industrialisation from a single source for the design of the appearance of the new &#8220;Gentler&#8221; brand.</p>
<p>In addition, the production of a small series was carried out on an industrial scale, which shortened the time to market for the product. The production of a small series could be realized in enormously short time periods by the production method of additive 3D manufacturing used by Industrialpartners in connection with novel surface treatments, which benefited the market launch of the &#8220;Gentler&#8221;.</p>
<p>The entire corporate product design for the veterinary product used for marketing also comes from the designers of industrialpartners. This included the design of the product logo, claims and the product website, as well as the layout and production of the operating instructions, the product brochure and the development and production of the product packaging,</p>

The holder finds its use in a drone, which is used for the GPS data acquisition. The parts are manufactured in tool inserts made of aluminum, which are used in steel staves.</p>
